Effects of K₂CO₃ on Cigarette Tar,Nicotine,Free Nicotine,pH Value,and Impact

Abstract

Abstract

In order to find out the reason why K₂CO₃ affected cigarette impact,the effects of K₂CO₃ on free nicotine in TPM and pH value of mainstream cigarette smoke were studied.The results showed that K₂CO₃ increased pH value and free nicotine conversion rate of mainstream cigarette smoke,which resulted in higher smoke impact.
