Application of Vacuum Cooling Technology in Redried Lamina Bale

  • In order to reduce the temperature in redried lamina bale immediately after packing,the experiment of fast online vacuum cooling of lamina bale was carried out.The results showed that the temperature of lamina bale was quickly lowered by vacuum cooling,and the free moisture was removed efficiently,the moulding of tobacco inside the bale was avoided,tobacco wastage during storage was decreased,the tobacco was well aged and safely stored.With the moisture content of lamina in the bale of 12.5% to 13.0% and the vacuum cooling time of 7 to 10 minutes, the temperature in bale dropped from around 40℃ to 32℃ quickly and the maximum difference of moisture content in the bale was lower than 0.35%,and the breakage caused by packing also decreased.
