Effects of Temperature and Humidity on Germination of Uredospores Causing Rust in Cephalanoplos segetum(Bunge) Kitam

  • In order to find the natural enemy of Cephalanoplos segetum (Bunge) Kitam,the effects of temperature,humidity and light on the uredospores germination of its rust pathogen,Puccinia obtegens,were investigated.The results showed that the optimum temperature of uredospores germination was 15-22℃,and its germination took place under the environmental relative humidity of 76%-100% and at the presence of water drops,while the uredospores germination was not susceptible to light.
