Relations of Compatibility Between Different Tobaccos to Water Dissoluble Sugar Contents in the Same

In order to investigate the relations of the compatibility between different tobaccos to the water dissoluble sugar content in the same,8 kinds of upper leaves from Henan tobacco growing areas were tested in pairs and the compatibility of each pair was panel evaluated and scored so as to study the compatibility between the paired tobacco and its relation to their water dissoluble sugar contents.The results showed that the difference between the water dissoluble sugar contents of the paired leaves affected not only their general com-patibility but also the compatibilities between their offensive odors and their aftertastes;the compatibility of tobacco was better when the difference was lower than 6%.
