Straight Line Detection Algorithm in Cigarette Packet Stamp Inspection Based on Machine Vision Technology

  • Aiming at the frequent defects in cigarette packet stamp application in COMPAS 500 packer,a straight line detection algorithm based on machine vision technology was introduced.By analyzing the principle of edge detection and straight line detection algorithm,the mathematical model of straight line detection was established.The model was applied in cigarette packet stamp inspection in COMPAS 500 packer,it was able to overcome the disturbance of image noise and ensured fast,accurate and real-time stamp inspection.The discrimination accuracy was over 99.9%,and the ratio of wrong rejection was less than 0.1%.
