Determination of Cigarette Smoldering Rate with SM400 Smoking Machine

Abstract

Abstract

A method for determining cigarette smoldering rate with SM400 smoking machine was introduced.The experiment results showed that the method featured some advantages,such as higher efficiency,convenient in operation,accurate measurement and good repeatability.The smoldering rates of 20 cigarettes could be determined simultaneously.The solutions to the frequent problems during determination were also explained.
