Optimization of Automatic Logistic System in Cigarette Industry Enterprises

In order to secure the capacity of material handling in case of system failures and overcome the bottleneck in handling mass flow of material,the automatic logistic system was upgraded by introducing the technology of linking malfunction alarm with mobile phone short message service and adding an emergency route for material transferring.The running efficiency of finished product warehouse system was increased by optimizing the scheme of depoting/retrieving and improving the scanning system in finished product retrieving.The upgraded system featured high reliability and stability,less down time and low labor intensity,and the shipment time of finished product decreased from 15 hours per day to 11 hours per day.
