Comparison of Sensory Quality Between Zimbabwean Flue-cured Tobacco and its Likely Domestic Counterparts

  • The sensory quality of domestic B2F and C3F flue-cured tobacco samples of 2004-2006 from 37 tobacco growing areas was evaluated and compared with that of Zimbabwean tobacco samples.The results showed that the sensory quality of domestic flue-cured tobacco samples was not as good as that of Zimbabwean tobacco samples in general,however,the gap narrowed gradually over the years.
