Determination of Ammonium Nitrogen in Burley Tobacco with Flow Autoanalyzer

Abstract

Abstract

Based on the principle of determinating total nitrogen in tobacco,the ammonium nitrogen in burley tobacco was extracted with distilled water,and then determined by a flow autoanalyzer.The results showed that the calibration curve possessed good linearity(correlation coefficient of 0.9999) in the range of ammonium nitrogen concentration from 0.010 to 0.050 g-.The recovery was 94% to 108% with RSD of 0.28%.
