Comprehensive Evaluation of Appearance Quality of Flue-cured Tobacco Based on Radar Graph

A comprehensive evaluation method based on radar graph for the appearance quality of flue-cured tobacco was proposed,the main steps are as follows:the data indicating the appearance quality of flue-cured tobacco were standardized and non-linearly transformed,the area and square sum of side length of radar graph were taken as the characteristic values of evaluation,then calculated each appearance quality evaluation value of flue-cured tobacco with evaluation function,and obtained the results of comprehensive evaluation.The results of a living example calculated and analyzed by the established method showed that it agreed with the results of qualitatively evaluation.It implied that the radar graph method can accurately evaluate the comprehensive appearance quality of flue-cured tobacco and can be used as an assistant tool for the comprehensive evaluation of flue-cured tobacco appearance quality.
