Study on Reducing Proportion of Zimbabwean Tobacco in Cigarette Blend

In order to deal with the problems of short supply and quality fluctuation of Zimbabwean tobacco,the routine chemical components and some aromatic components in Zimbabwean and quality domestic tobacco were analyzed and their sensory quality was evaluated,and the studies on the evaluation and characteristics of Zimbabwean and quality domestic tobacco,blending and flavoring were carried out.The results showed that:it is feasible to substitute quality domestic tobacco for Zimbabwean tobacco by casing and flavoring formulated specially for this purpose,and the tobacco cost of blend decreases by 8 yuan per 10000 cigs.,or 800 thousand yuan/year.
