Device for Purging Horizontal Cylindrical Equipment

There were some common problems existed in horizontal cylinder type equipments in tobacco industry,such as the materials adhered to the inner wall of cylinder which affected the processing uniformity of tobacco and increased tobacco waste,and the manual cleaning of cylinder under relatively high temperature was labor some and unsafe.Therefore,a purging device for horizontal cylindrical equipment was designed,which was composed of an air tank and a purging adjusting system.The tobacco adhered to the inner wall was blown off by compressed air controlled by an electromagnetic valve.The practical application indicated that the device cleaned the cylinder's inner wall automatically,decreased tobacco waste by 5.56 kg/batch.Moreover,it could also be used to speed up the emptying of tail tobacco to reduce the over-dried cut tobacco in cut tobacco drying.
