Design and Application of Data Acquisition System in Cigarette Manufacturing Department

  • The data acquisition in cigarette manufacturing department is difficult due to variform machine types and acquisition interfaces and the bottleneck existed in quality tracing throughout making and packing operation. Starting from business data flow in manufacturing department, a new data acquisition system, including system configuration and net topology structure, was introduced by taking the data acquisition system in the manufacturing department of Longyan Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd., as an example. The key technologies for data acquisition, tracing and inquiring modules were described. With clear and friendly interface, the system can conduct the data acquisition from different making and packing lines and scan the barcode on the material fed to the machines, perform data inquiring and tracing, and provide fundamental data support for manufacturing department.
