Treating Tobacco Extract Liquid with Flocculation-high-speed Centrifugal Separation

  • In order to effectively remove the small fibrous suspended matter and the macro molecular substances, which negatively affect cigarette taste, such as protein, pectin and starch, from the extract liquid in manufacturing reconstituted tobacco with paper-making process, the soluble macro molecule components in the extract liquid were flocculated into the micelles of much larger diameter by the bridging function of-OH and physical adsorption of Ca2+ in S-2 adsorption clarifier, disc centrifuge and closed plate filter were connected in cascade to remove the flocs, the dregs content in the filtered extract liquid was reduced to below 0.5%, the removal ratio of protein was more than 90%.
