Delphi-based QTM Data Acquisition and Processing System

The QTM test station now in use provides neither failure statistics and inquiry,nor failure massage and recommended treatment in Chinese.A Delphi-based QTM data acquisition and processing system was developed,it communicated QTM with PC via RS232,real-timely acquired QTM's status data,gave out failure warning,and implemented data storage and remote inquiry via Ethernet by the support of SQL Server.The collected data was displayed graphically with inserted Chinese failure massage and recommended treatment.The system inserted the functions of QTM failure statistics and inquiry about standard calibration and draw resistance linearity test in remote inquiry terminal.The results of practical running and data comparison for two subsequent years indicated that QTM failure rate reduced from 2.0% to under 0.5%,downtime and QTM maintenance cost was decreased effectively.
