Effects of Top Band Movement on Consistence of Cut Tobacco Width in Rotary Guillotine Cutter

By analyzing the working principle of rotary guillotine cutter and the mechanism of top band movement,it was found that the movement frequency of top band and upper mouthpiece was a main factor affecting the consistence of cut tobacco width.Some suggestions were proposed:minimizing the fluctuations of mouthpiece opening,synchronizing the top band speed with the change of mouthpiece opening,and improving the conveying of vibratory feeding conveyor or vertical feeder to minimize the fluctuation of tobacco feeding.However,the best way for improving the consistence of cut tobacco width is ensuring a constant tobacco input flow.
