Improvement of Flow Control at Initial Stage of Tobacco Feeding for HXD

  • The tobacco entering HXD pneumatic cut tobacco drier increases gradually at the initial stage of tobacco feeding,the unsteady tobacco flow results in over-dried or under-dried cut tobacco,therefore,the running of front belt conveyor is modified.When DCC cylinder starts up,the thickness of tobacco carpet on the belt is kept at a normal level by lowering the speed of subsequent belt conveyer until the conveyer reaches its normal speed.After improving,the dried cut tobacco approaches to targeted moisture content quickly,the over-dried or under-dried cut tobacco is avoided,the consumption of cut tobacco decreases,and the stability of tobacco flow in HXD is improved.
