Application of Principal Component Analysis in Evaluation of Distributing Uniformity of Cut Tobacco Distributor

The change of cut tobacco structure before and after distributing was analyzed with principal component analysis to evaluate the performance of distributors of two different types. The results showed that:1) the quality of tobacco distributed by a multi-rotating-drum distributor changed less than that by a disc distributor, and the cut tobacco distributed to different cigarette making machines was more uniform; 2) cluster analysis and intercept calculation via principal component analysis could evaluate the quality difference between products.
