Design and Application of Glue Supply System for Tipping Paper Glue Applicators in PASSIM Type Filter Cigarette Making Machine

In the tipping paper glue applicator in PASSIM type filter cigarette making machine, glue is continuously supplied from a glue pot, the moisture dissipation and dust contamination during glue refluxing may lead to intermittent glue supply, and defective cigarettes with air leak or loose filter result. A new glue supply system which incorporated the advantages of glue supply systems in PASSIM and PROTOS was designed. By adding a glue pot, three sequential scrapers, a glue level detector, and improving glue applicator, glue supply becomes uninterrupted, stable and clean. The cigarette defects of air leak and loose filter are eliminated.
