Improvement of Filter Rod Storing and Conveying System

The filter rod storing and conveying system now in use comprises a group of independent shooter units,each shooter was connected to a remote receiver by a pipe for filter rod conveying and the set shooter-receiver connection is fixed and not changeable,and its signal transmission is of on-off-type,which is not convenient to monitoring and routine maintenance.The system was improved with a fieldbus and a flexible connection system.After improving,the shooting rate of filter rod reached more than 98%.basically no filter rod was stacked on-site.System's running state monitoring,information inquiring and exchanging were realized.The free linking between shooter and receiver reduced operators' labor intensity and increased production efficiency.
