Improvement of Linking System Between YB43 Hard Packers and ZB45 Auxiliary Machines

In the machine combination which comprises two YB43 hard packers linking to one set of ZB45 auxiliary machines,the linking mechanism has the shortcomings of frequent failures,high maintenance cost and the arrangement of machines is irrational,therefore the machine combination was improved as following:1) simplifying the stopper unit;2) adding an output packet deflecting and automatic tray loading mechanism;3) extending the existing PLC program;4) packets storing and feeding to the downstream auxiliary machine at a time interval depending on packet counting.When downstream machine was in emergency stop,cigarette packets could be shifted to the passage leading to an automatic tray loader.The practical application results showed that the consumption of hardware reduced by 30%;the mechanical damage to cigarette packets was completely avoided;the manual packet picking in case that ZB45 running at slow speed was no longer necessary,and the machine efficiency increased by 3 percentage point.
