Relocation of Speed Encoder for Knife Drum in SQ315 Tobacco Cutter

The speed encoder for knife drum in SQ315 tobacco cutter was installed on the worm shaft in gearbox for grinding wheel movement,and the accuracy of cut tobacco width was affected by the fluctuation of speed measuring arised from the axial backlash of the worm shaft.Therefore,the encoder was relocated on the shaft of knife drum.By eliminating the source of interference,the consistence of cut tobacco width was ensured,the standard deviation of cut tobacco width reduced from 0.043 to 0.028 mm,the value of Cp raised from 0.78 to 1.2.
