Screening of Regional Characters of Flue-cured Tobacco Appearance from Sensory Evaluating Indicators

The concept and content of regional characters of flue-cured tobacco appearance were put forward.The indicators for regional characters of flue-cured tobacco appearance were screened out and their sensory evaluating methods were developed.Taking the flue cured tobacco leaves of C3F as research objects,the empirical analysis of regional characters of key production points in main ecological areas across the country was conducted.Background color,waxiness and luster of cured leaf were selected preliminarily as indicators for evaluating regional characters of flue-cured tobacco appearance.In addition,leaf surface tissue and flexibility were taken as alternative indicators.
