Method for Analyzing and Evaluating Sensory Characteristics of Tobacco

  • In order to better control the sensory characteristics of tobacco in processing and improve the stability of cigarette quality,a method for evaluating the sensory quality of tobacco was established by comparing the coincidence degree of each sensory index between tested samples and the control.The weight of each sensory evaluating index was determined by consulting experts concerned,the value of deviation evaluation index,D,was obtained by statistical calculation of panel evaluation results,and used as an estimation of the deviation degree of sensory characteristics of tested sample from that of control sample.The application results showed that:this method was effective for evaluating the quality control of tobacco in processing and finished cigarette products.
