Modification of AA Ⅲ Autoanalyzer Used for Determining Chloride in Tobacco

  • In order to reduce the deviation in determining chloride in tobacco by AA Ⅲ autoanalyzer, the effects of dialyzer, wavelength for detection sample injection rate and color developing reagent concentration on the determination results were investigated, and the autoanalyzer was modified. The results showed that:1) Tobacco extract could be purified by adding a dialyzer at reaction pipe. 2)Max adsorbance of reaction product was at the wavelength of 460 nm. 3) After modification, the recovery of the method were from 94.2% to 106.5% with RSD<5%。The modified AA Ⅲ autoanalyzer is suitable for the accurate determination of chloride in tobacco.
