Rapid Determination of Potassium, Sodium and Calcium in Cigarette Paper with Ultrasonic Extraction-Continuous Flow Method

  • In order to monitor cigarette paper quality, the contents of potassium (K), sodium (Na) and calcium (Ca) in cigarette paper were rapidly determined by ultrasonic extraction-continuous flow method. The recoveries of K, Na and Ca were 99.2%, 98.6% and 101%, with the relative standard deviations (RSD) of 2.32%, 2.09% and 3.06%, respectively. This method is simple, fast and accurate, and competent for determining potassium, sodium and calcium in cigarette paper.
