Improvement of Bobbin Holder Assembly in KDF2 Filter Rod Maker

The bobbin holder in KDF2 filter rod maker is positioned by a locknut, which is not convenient for operation during bobbin changing and has no device for accurately positioning the swivel plate. Therefore, the bobbin holder assembly was improved. While keeping the structure of base unchanged, cylinder and bobbin holder were integrated and cylinder was installed on the swivel plate. The bobbin locking device was linked to the piston shaft via a bearing to prevent cylinder piston from rotating with bobbin and ensure proper seal of cylinder piston. The pneumatic control circuit was mounted on a fixed plate and connected to the cylinder by a flexible link. The improved bobbin holder could lock and unlock bobbin automatically. The added swivel plate positioning device ensured the swivel plate arriving at right position and accurately aligning the air ports on the fixed plate and swivel plate. The process's running was stable and reliable.
