Development of Digraph-based Family Tree for Cigarette Production Batch Tracing

Abstract
The traditional tree structure in the whole-blend processing mode is unable to characterize the many-to-many relationships among production batches and develop the family tree for batch tracing in the grouping processing in cigarette enterprises. Therefore, a method for production batch tracing developed on the digraph-based family tree was proposed through analyzing the technical characters of batch management in grouping processing. The results showed that the method could effectively characterize the correlations between batches in grouping processing, and further to develop the family tree for batches of various different combinations in grouping processing, and provide data to MES system for quality tracing and production performance analyzing in cigarette production.
