Effects of LIP Cigarette Paper on Sensory Characters of Cigarette

In order to investigate the effects of LIP cigarette paper on the sensory characters of cigarette, the change trend of sensory characters was evaluated by comparative tests. The results showed that: 1) LIP cigarette paper affected all the indexes of sensory characters, especially aroma style; 2) the effects of LIP cigarette paper on flue-cured cigarette were more significant than on blended-type cigarette; the sensory characters of cigarette of higher price category and the aroma style and aroma quality of cigarette with higher tar delivery were more significantly affected by LIP cigarette paper; 3) LIP cigarette paper made from wood pulp affected cigarette's sensory characters less than that from flax pulp.
