Application of Cgk Assessment in Optimization of Brabender Moisture Meter Parameters

  • In order to improve the measurement results of Brabender MT-C moisture meter, the values of reduction coefficient f and confidence factor k were determined as 0.3 and 3, respectively, and formula for Cgk calculation was obtained by referring to the measurement capability index (Cgk)assessment method in JB/T 10633-2006. The optimal parameters obtained by orthogonal test were: drying temperature 117℃, drying time 16 minutes, sample mass 8 g. The results of validation test showed that under optimized conditions, the assessment index Cg was 2.0, Cgk was 1.58> 1.33, which met the requirements of routine test.
