Method of Paper Tension Control Based on Servo Control Technology

Abstract
In order to solve the problem of paper break in high-speed cigarette maker and filter rod maker due to bow brake swinging far away from its optimal working position, and to reduce circuit board design and maintenance costs, the feedback input signals of main shaft speed and bow brake sensor were linearized by a special circuit board, on the basis of that, a servo controller was used to directly receive these two input signals. The signals were linearized by inner software, then compensated via the hyperbola loop to timely adjust the drive signal output to the capstan roller motor. The application result showed that the bow brake moved stably, the adjustment range was appropriate. The action of bow brake was gentle during adjusting with a narrow swing(±5°), the plug wrap break reduced from 5-6 times per day to once every several days.
