Design and Implementation of Cigarette Product Research and Development Management System in Tobacco Industrial Enterprise

To promote the management level of cigarette product research and development in tobacco industrial enterprise, a.NET-based management information system was designed and developed by optimizing the flow of product research and development. By incorporating Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and SAP XI integrated bus technology, the developed system closely integrated with other information systems and established a knowledge management library inclusive of product design, product data and product standard, which excavated, integrated and associated product resources to construct a coordinated management environment of product research and development and realize the whole flow management of product research and development. The results of application showed that the system could effectively manage the R&D data of cigarette products, realize information sharing and transmitting among flow nodes in product research and development management, improve the traceability of product development process, and achieve the management goal of single-point development and multi-point homogeneous production.
