Scavenging Active Oxygen Free-radical with 1-Carboxyethylamino-1-Deoxy-D-Fructose
The scavenging effects of 1-carboxyethylamino-1-deoxy-D-fructose on the HO· and O2-· in chemical system and the free-radical in cigarette smoke were detected with chemiluminescence, spectrophotometry, and ESR, respectively.The results showed that 1-carboxyethylamino-1-deoxy-D-fructose is capable of scavenging active oxygen free-radicals both in chemical system and in cigarette smoke.
