Study on Preparation and Pyrolysis of s-Butylmalonic Acid
s-Butylmalonic acid was prepared with diethyl malonate and 2-bromide butane, and was confirmed by 1HNMR, 13CNMR, LC/MS/MS, TG and DSC.The pyrolytic experiments of the said acid in air and in cigarettes were also conducted.The results showed that the synthesized product was the target compound, s-butylmalonic acid, from which β-methylvaleric acid was released during pyrolysis both in air and in cigarettes.
