Design of Paper Splice Detecting System

A device for detecting the splice of tipping paper or cigarette paper in filter cigarette maker was designed.An optical fiber sensor was added at the feeding location of tipping paper or cigarette paper to detect the transparence of the object, the cigarettes wrapped with spliced paper were identified and rejected via a rejection valve.
