Effects of Fertilizing Rate of Nitrogen and Hole Applied Fertilizers on Yield and Quality of Zhongyan 100

The field experiments in soil with moderate fertility were conducted to study the effects of 4 levels of nitrogen rates and hole applied fertilizers on the yield and quality of cv.Zhongyan 100.The results showed that when nitrogen rate was 90-105kg/ha, it gave better economic characters.However, when nitrogen rate was 75-90kg/ha, it gave finer leaf appearance and smoking quality.Balancing the two, the suitable nitrogen rate was 90kg/ha.In the case of KNO₃, it gave bigger leaf area, better leaf appearance, and relatively higher output value, although the growth of tobacco plant in early stage was weaker.KNO₃ was better than (NH₄)₂HPO₄ on the whole.
