Effect of Temperature on Biological Characteristics of Gastrophysa atrocyanea(Motschulsky)in Tobacco Field

The biological characteristics of Gastrophysa atrocyanea (Motschulsky)at different temperatures were studied in an artificial climatic chamber.The results showed that in the range of 18-27℃, the temperature significantly positively correlated with the eating capacity and survival rate of larva and the laying and emergence rates of adult.The suitable temperature for the breeding of Gastrophysa atrocyanea (Motschulsky)was 24-30℃, and 27℃ was the best.
