Application of Sub-station Self-diagnosing Function of PROFIBUS-DP Field Bus in Tobacco Cutter

A diagnosing function block FB125 of PROFIBUS-DP field bus was embedded in the source program of tobacco cutter, the access and parameters of the function block were explained, and the sub-station setup, processing of diagnosing data, and the monitoring frames of self-diagnosing function of graphical information in PROFIBUS-DP bus system were also introduced.This function could be applied to other systems where PROFIBUS-DP is in place to improve control reliability and self-diagnosing ability.
