Pneumatic Drying and its Application in Tobacco Processing: a Review

The principle, characteristics and advance in system development of pneumatic drying were reviewed and the influences of pneumatic drying on the physical properties, chemical components and sensory quality of cut tobacco were compared with traditional cylinder drying.It was believed that the mathematical simulation of tobacco pneumatic drying by means of computer technology would be a prerequisite tool and a representative of research direction for future studies.
