Bioactivities of some Plant Extracts against Lasioderma serricorne Fabricius

The contact toxicity and repellent effects of plant extracts with different concentrations on the adult Lasioderma serricorne Fabricius were determined at 24, 48 and 72 hours after applying.The results showed that the ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate and petroleum ether extracts of Croton tiglium and Stemona japonica, the acetone, ethyl acetate and petroleum ether extracts of Aconitum kusnezoffii, the ethanol and acetone extracts of Hyssopus oficinalis and Artemisia capillaries, the petroleum ether extract of Aconitum carmichaeli had better contact toxicity;and the ethyl acetate and petroleum ether extracts of Croton tiglium and Araceae plants, the ethyl acetate extract of Stemona japonica, the petroleum ether extract of Alpinia officinarum, the ethanol and petroleum ether extracts of Litesea cubeba had better repellent effect.
