Extraction of Solanesol in Tobacco with Supercritical Fluid CO₂

Abstract

The conditions for solanesol extracting from tobacco with supercritical fluid CO₂ were studied.It was found that the key factor influencing the yield of solanesol was extracting pressure.The optimum conditions for SCFE were as follow s:pressure:20MPa;temperature:40℃;entrainer, 75% (v/v) alcohol:1.5mL/g raw material;CO₂ flowrate:20kg/h.The yield of solanesol was over 79%.
