Recent Advances in Phytophthora parasitica var. nicotianae(Ⅱ)

The recent advances in pathogenicity and the finding,mechanism, type and main pathway of physiological differentiation, two identification methods (physio-biochemical method and host distinguishing method), the types and variation in asexual reproduction of mating type of Phytophthora parasitica var. nicotianae were reviewed.The pathogenicity, physiological differentiation and inoculation methods were also discussed.
