Reducing Carcinogenic Compounds in Cigarette Smoke by Rhodeopteridium Extract

  • In order to reduce carcinogenic compounds in cigarette smoke, the extract from rhodeopteridium plant was added into filter or cut rags at 80ppm.The results of smoke analysis indicated that the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, free radicals and aromatic amines in cigarette mainstream smoke were significantly reduced and tobacco specific N-nitrosoamines were eliminated to a certain extent.
