Biodegradation Experiments on Cigarette Packet Innerliner

  • In order to evaluate the natural degradability and environment-protective properties of cigarette packet innerliner, the mass-losing rates of four kinds of innerliner eroded by two species of fungus, Aspergillus niger Ym3324 and Trichoderma Ym, in given time in plate culture and liquid culture conditions were determined and the growing of funguses were also visually graded. The results indicated that the aluminum metallized foil had the highest biodegradation rate, it was a recommendable environment-friendly cigarette packet innerliner.
