Screening of Antagonistic Endophytic Bacteria against Tobacco Entomopathogenic Fungi

In order to control some tobacco diseases with beneficial microorganisms, 1729 endophytic bacterial isolates were obtained from root, stalk, and leaf of seven tobacco varieties (Yunyan85, Hongda, K326, K346, RG11, G28, and NC89) at different growing stages.All the isolates were tested by duel culture for their antagonisms against Botrytis cinerea, Phytophthora parasitica var. nicotianae, Alternaria alternata, and Collectotrichum nicotianae.The results showed that 61 isolates were antagonistic against Botrytis, 38 isolates against Phytophthora, 52 isolates against Alternaria, and 55 isolates against Collectotrichum.
