Calculation of Draw Resistance Variability of Cigarette Filter Tow

The definition and meaning of draw resistance variability (DRV) of filter tow (FT), the relationship be-tween population variance, as well as its point estimation (PE), and confidence interval (CI), calculation of PE and CI, and reasons of correction were introduced. The control of the quality of FT by PE and CI of DRV was dis-cussed briefly.
