Experiments on Control of Tobacco Pests with 5% Aldicarb, Temik and Carbofuran
-
Abstract
The field contrast experiments showed that Myzus persicae (Sulzer) and Root-knot nematodes were killed with 5% Aldicarb and 15% Temik by hole application during transplanting and top dressing at fast growing stage, the population abated rate of wingless aphids reached 100%. The relative control effects of 15% Temik at the rate of 15.0kg per ha and 5% Aldicarb of 45.0kg per ha by hole application during transplanting were over 80% for tobacco root-knot nematodes. There were no significant differences between the two pesticides in control effects.
