Relationships among Physical Parameters of Filter Rod

In order to investigate the relationships among circumference, weight, hardness and draw resistance, the filter rods of different circumferences and weights made of 2.7Y/30000, 3.0Y/35000 and 3.3Y/37000 tows without plasticizer were tested. The results showed that 1) for the filter rod made of 2.7Y/30000 acetate tow, the draw resistance and hardness changed by 83Pa, 0.43% and 116Pa, 1.18%, respectively; 2) for the filter rod made of 3.0 Y/35000 tow, the draw resistance and hardness of filter rod were varied by 74Pa and 0.49% and by 114pa and 0.88%, respectively; 3) for the filter rod made of 3.3Y/37000 tow, the changes of draw resistance and hardness were 77Pa, 0.53% and 109Pa, 1.31%, respectively; when the circumference and weight of filter rod varied 0.1mm and 0.01g, respectively.
