Improvement of Cut Stem Pneumatic Conveying System in Primary Processing Line

  • Because of the higher breakage ratio and lower rate of long strands (>3.0mm) in cut stem after pneumatic conveying, the air velocity in the pneumatic conveying system was reduced and the moisture content of expanded cut stem was set at a higher value. As a result, the rate of long strands (>3.0mm) was increased, and the breakage ratio was decreased.
