Studies on Relative Contents of Pathogen in TMV-Inoculated Plant

  • In order to control TMV more effectively, the tobacco was inoculated with pathogen at seedling, layby and fast growing stages, the samples were collected at different stages and tested with TAS-ELISA. The results showed that different apparatus inoculated at different growing stage in order of relative contents of pathogen were:leaf inoculated at layby > leaf inoculated at seedling > root inoculated at layby > root inoculated at seedling > stalk inoculated at seedling > stalk inoculated at seedling > stalk inoculated at layby > stalk inoculated at fast growing > leaf inoculated at fast growing > root inoculated at fast growing.Inoculated at seedling, layby and fast growing stage, respectively, the growing stages in order of relative contents of pathogen were layby > seedling > fast growing. The pathogen was found in flower and capsule as well after inoculation, the flower apparatus in order of relative content of pathogen was corolla > ovary > calyx > stamen > pistil.
